Food supply is critical for humanity, so the food industry is a crucial national strategic industry that contributes to the GDP and creates workplaces.
In the 21st century, food distribution is becoming more critical because it affects healthy and functional foods, making it possible to deliver fresh and safe food to customers. The Dept. of Food Processing and Distribution is the first department that teaches both the processing and distribution of foods in Korea. We aim to reach an employment rate of 100% after graduation. We also aim to foster our students to become talented experts who can take care of the public’s dietary life.
