The Dept. of Marine Food Science and Technology fosters students to have basic scientific literacy, focusing on the specific use of marine products, the essential nature of food, and the development and processing of various foods.

In this field, we teach fundamental knowledge about the value and function of food, technical hygiene safety with the increase of seafood, basic understanding of the process, improvement of quality, and food distribution.

Students will study the distribution process of food, safekeeping of unprocessed raw ingredients, the substitution of new materials, product development, new processing technology, and improvement of food culture. We aim to cultivate talented experts capable of contributing to national health improvement.
