The Dept. of Aquatic Life and Medicine teaches genetics, environmental toxicology, cytology, immunology, and advanced material biotechnology to nurture students to become experts in the bio industry. With biological knowledge, we have developed functional compound feeds for marine biological heritage, marine environmental pollution, and environmentally friendly marine life forms to advance marine biological science. We also focus on research that can be applied to the industry through marine biotechnology approaches such as extracting useful bioactive substances from marine and developing diagnostic biosensors.

To nurture talented students who can lead the marine biotechnology industry, we also have equipped labs that are currently being operated.
